A new shady Park

We found a new park. It is really an old park that has been redone. It has lots of large shade trees and fun new play equiptment. We have had such a busy june and july it seems strange to say we are already in August. At least we have had lots of happy smiling fun.

Bridger's Bug

We went to a fun park and Bridger found a small praymantis. He wanted to keep it forever until ot pinched him.

Girls Camp

I went to girls camp this year. It was stake camp up at Heber Valley. It was such a wonderful place to go. Becky, nyself, and Gwen were the leaders that went with the girls on the five mile hike. It was so beautiful, very steep but worth the climb.
There was a challenge course and I was able go through it witha group of half my girls. This is the zip line we went down. You had to get harnessed, climb a rope ladder, walk accross these little slats, and them jump off the end to go flying down the zip line. It was really awsome.

These are 11 of my 21 girls that came with me to camp. They were so great I love all fo my girls. The spirit we felt at camp was amazing. It was such a great experience to go with these fabulous young women to camp. They taught me so much.

Nephi Parade

Alex did a fly over for the Nephi Ute Parade. We drove down and I had the oportunity to talk to him in the air on a radio and tell him when to fly over it was cool. We sat at the begining of the parade and the kids got loads of taffy. Alex landed and then rode in a truck in the parade. Bridger followed the truck for a ways and gave Alex some of his candy. It was fun to take them to the parade. We also were able to go to the rodeo that night.

Visit to the Smith's

We went to Idaho for a visit, and ended up going to the Flumes. For those who don't know what a flume is, it's a giant tube that carries water over a road. None of the pictures I posted show how high it is, but it's high. You jump in and the water current takes you down the flume, and then you hurry out of the current and climb out of the canal. It's like a huge water slide but not as fast. The kids were nervous at first, but then loved it. The worst part is walking back over the skinny boards on top of the flume.

We were all suprised whe this little horse let the kids feed and pet him.

Baby Bird

At our house these are called wormy noodles. So Rilynn wanted her dad to feed her the wormy noodles, just like a baby bird.

SO GROSS.

Family Day at AT

For the last day of annual training there was a family day. The kids had a great time on all the fun blow up toys.

Yes Bridger is the middle kid, not going up the stairs, but improvising his way to the top.

Maclain is awesome on the rock wall.

Toads and Snakes

Bridger found a snake in our yard and Rilynn had fun watching it slither under the tramp.
Bridger did cry when we made him let it go, he wanted to keep it forever.

The kids found a toad in Grandma Smith's garden and had lots of fun playing with it. Bridger however wouldn't touch it. Go figure snakes but not toads?

Rilynn and the toad were a crackup.

Maclain was the keeper of the toad, he protected it from the other two who wanted to poke it to make it jump.

Painting

We recently finished our basement and we hired the best painters in town..... My parents and my sister came and helped me paint everyday, but all three kids helped too. Bridger was the funniest, he talked and talked the whole time things like I'm the best painter and I'm going to beat you grandma because I'm so fast maybe you should paint like me because I'm so good at this. on and on and on for hours he painted and talked.

Pickin' Peas In June

Rilynn loves the peas Bridger planted, everytime she's in the backyard she is pickin peas.

This is a Sunday after church when they all went out to pick peas for dinner. We loved our peas.
